1. Knockdown Texture
Knockdown is the most common drywall texture in Fort Worth residential construction. It’s characterized by flat, irregular splatter patterns with rounded edges, the ‘knockdown’ refers to the step where a wide knife is used to flatten (knock down) the peaks of joint compound that’s been applied or sprayed on, leaving a mottled, natural-looking surface.
Knockdown comes in different densities from light to heavy. It’s versatile, forgiving, and works with virtually any paint color and sheen up through eggshell.

4. Smooth / Level 5
